Sheridan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015. She went on to complete her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University under the mentorship of Dr. Ravi Bellamkonda in 2023. During her Ph.D., Sheridan investigated enhancing CAR T cell therapy in mouse EGFRvIII heterogenous glioblastoma through improving intratumoral CAR T cell abundance and engaging the endogenous immune system. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow focused on cancer immunotherapies at the University of Chicago in the labs of Dr. Melody Swartz and Dr. Jeffrey Hubbell. Outside of lab, Sheridan enjoys exploring new countries, cultures, and food as well as experimenting with new culinary recipes.
