Jacob received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the Ohio State University and his master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Universitat de Barcelona. He received his doctoral degree in biomedical engineering from the Ohio State University in 2025. His work has focused on engineering microfluidic platforms to study functional in vitro lymphatic and blood vessels. Leveraging microsystems, his research aims to elucidate the role of lymphatics within the fields of immunoengineering and cancer biology.
